Women's Ministry
Ushers Ministry
Purpose: To provide cordial
greetings to members and guests upon the entrance to our church.
Duties: Assist with seating
of guests and members; provide bulletins for order of service,
collection of tithes and offerings
Four Usher Ministries:
Senior, Adult, Intermediate, Youth
Pastor’s Aide Ministry
Purpose: To offer the
biblical principles of love and care for our Pastor as God has
instructed his church to do; assist Pastor and his family with the
support of his work in the ministry with prayers, finances,
encouraging words and deeds; to edify the Shepherd which God has
placed over High Street
Duties: Honor the Pastor
with tokens of appreciation throughout the year; sponsor Valentine’s
Tea and Christmas Dinner to members for their help and assistance
throughout the year.
Deaconess Ministry
The Deaconess Ministry is one in which dedicated
women of faith serve the Lord, while ministering to the needs of
others.
Our Missions are:

To enhance the spiritual matters of the
church.

To help foster peace, love, and Christian
unity.

To exhibit a Christian fervor.

To encourage and support each other.

To be helpers to others.
-
To relieve the needs of the poor, the
sick, and the needy.

To assist the Deacons and Pastor in the
spiritual needs of the church.
The life of a Deaconess
should be with a Godly purpose, faithful in the service of the Lord,
dignified in appearance, and modest in manners. One must not only
look the part, but act accordingly as well.
The prayer life of the Deaconess should enable oneself to lead by a
Christ-like example. Jesus is our model example. Jesus said in
Matthew 5:16 (NIV)”In the same way, let your light shine before men,
that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in Heaven."

Music Ministry
Purpose: To provide an
opportunity for its choirs and congregation to worship and to praise
God through music. In order to invoke God's presence, the Music
Ministry offers hymns, congregational singing, choral responses,
anthems, Spirituals and Gospel songs all based on Scripture.

Sunday School Ministry
Purpose: To teach the Bible,
nurture Faith; connect people to the body of Christ
Fulfilling the mission of
Sunday School involves four main tasks:
1. reaching the needs of people for Jesus Christ and Church
Membership.
2. Ministering to class members through Christian fellowship.
3. Teaching class members the Word of God to equip them as
Disciples of Christ.
4. Helping class members find a place of service to help them grow
in their faith.
Educational Services
Ministry
Purpose: To provide a
variety of programs to benefit the church as well as the community
in fellowship, food, fun, and educational programs
Family and Friends Night
programs are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. A
dinner meal is served prior to the program beginning at 5:30 p.m. in
the Fellowship Hall.
